Paul Roseby OBE is a broadcaster and CEO and Artistic Director of the National Youth Theatre. In over a decade at the helm of the world’s leading youth arts charity he has commissioned over 150 plays, pioneered the NYT REP Company, led a ground-breaking international cultural exchange programme and directed many hit productions. They include the London 2012 Team Welcome Ceremonies, S. S Daley ‘Class’ @ London Fashion Week 2021, Handel & Hendrix at Somerset House, Town Planning in the Apocalypse by James Graham at the Duke of York's, F* Off by Tatty Hennessy, Generation Sext for Sky Arts, Relish by James Graham, When Romeo Met Juliet for BBC2, Silence by Moira Buffini and Tom Stoppard’s abridgement of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice at the Royal Opera House and the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing.
Paul is a member of the Department for Education's working group for a new enrichment entitlement for every pupil, prioritising arts and culture around the curriculum

Favourite recent NYT projects: As a governor of a non mainstream school i'm a huge advocate and fan of our inclusive practice programmes working with neurodivergent and disabled young people - our Digital Heroes of the Imagination with the brilliant Touretteshero during the covid lockdown is a real highlight
