NYT Awarded Silver Trauma Informed Quality Mark
We are proud to have been awarded a Silver Trauma Informed Quality Mark by One Small Thing.
This recognises that #traumainformed working is being implemented across our culture, practice and environment, and that the individual needs of our young people are prioritised.
We’re grateful to our team who made this possible and The Centre for Mental Health, who recommended we worked towards this quality mark in their post COVID-19 review of our work.
The Working with Trauma Quality Mark is a set of best practice standards in trauma-informed working. It is a practical and accessible tool to help organisations review, develop and evidence trauma-informed practice throughout their organisation.

The Working with Trauma Quality Mark recognises organisations who can evidence they meet a robust, accessible, and supportive set of standards for working with trauma. It has been developed in partnership with Dr Alexandria Bradley from Leeds Beckett University and peer reviewed by critical friends at The Nelson Trust and Tina Vink from Together Women. It has been developed through an extensive analysis of existing global standards, principles, and values associated with trauma informed working practices.
