#StartYourStory

It's beginning to look a lot like... Auditions time! Hear their stories, then start yours. 2017 auditions now open. Hear their stories… then start yours.

Acting Auditions and Backstage

Applications for Acting Auditions and Backstage Interviews are open online and we've been contacting schools and arts centres around the country asking them to help us in our search for young talent from all over the UK by putting up a poster. If you can support our talent search by putting up a poster in a schools or arts centre email frankie.haynes@nyt.org.uk. If you know a 14-25 year-old who would benefit from an opportunity with the National Youth Theatre send them to www.nyt.org.uk/auditions

Supper Club

NYT Supper Club is in full swing! Members, alumni, staff, supporters and anyone with an interest in the National Youth Theatre are invited to host a supper (or event of your choice) in an effort to fundraise for the National Youth Theatre bursary fund.

There’s still time to take part. Sign up to host a supper now! You can check out recipes, tips and more on our Supper Club Tumblr here. Thank you for your support.

Final REP Company Performances

Today the doors close on the final performance by the 2016 NYT REP Company. The critically acclaimed season at Ambassadors Theatre has been a triumph with Romeo&Juliet, Pigeon English and DNA all receiving fantastic reviews and reaching new audiences. Head here to check out our Pigeon English and Romeo & Juliet teaser trailers if you did not manage to catch one of the shows this year.

Arianna, Charlotte, Shiv, Seraphina, Natasha, Shalisha, Daisy, Chinenye, Nathaniel, James, Kwami, Felix, Josh, Mike, Joe and Catrin - WELL DONE and thank you so much for your commitment throughout the run.

Our next event for both Company and Club Members of the NYT will give you the chance to find out more about the many different roles the theatre can offer – not just on stage, but off stage too! We’ll be chatting about the different roles within the theatre and creative industries and how you can access vital hands on experience with the NYT.
