Playing Up
This week we welcomed our new Playing Up Company to the course’s new base at our Holloway Road Rehearsal Rooms. The company kicked off their training with a session with NYT Alumnus and Associate Kane Husbands on their first day, followed by a day with Toby Clarke, Co-founder of ALT.
The company will work part time with NYT for ten months, developing with the help of a whole host of NYT Tutors, before staging a end of course performance in Summer 2018.
Playing Up is an OCN Level 3 accredited 10 month drama training programme, offering young people aged 19 - 24 who are not in Education Employment or Training the opportunity to gain an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Theatre Arts, which is equivalent to 2 ‘A’ Levels.
