Today marks the official last day of training for the REP Company. After their three month run at Ambassadors Theatre, the REP Company returned to Holloway Road for an evaluation week working with NYT Associates on audition technique, planning their next steps, and reflecting on the past nine months.
We’ve absolutely loved having them train with us for the past nine months, and know they’ll smash it whatever they all get up to next.

NYT heads to Birmingham this weekend
Tomorrow we’ll be running an introductory workshop at the Birmingham Old REP, ahead of our new Start Up Saturdays course in Birmingham from January.
It’ll be lead by NYT associate and actor Lauren O'Rourke (TV Credits include: White Gold, The Inbetweeners, Drifters), this workshop will explore National Youth Theatre’s approach to ensemble theatre making, and introduce you to our new team of associates who will be running regular classes at the theatre early next year. It will give you the opportunity to learn more about the organisation and how you can get involved.
Masterclasses

11-14 and can’t wait to get involved in NYT? There are a limited number of places left on our Start Up Saturdays course in London, starting in January. We’re also running the course in Birmingham from January, and in Manchester from September.
BBC Radio Norman Beaton Fellowship
The first round auditions for the BBC Radio Norman Beaton Fellowship happened at NYT this week.
NBF is a flagship initiative run by BBC Radio Drama as a key part of the department's actor talent events. Its aim is to broaden the range of actors available to Radio Drama producers across the UK by encouraging applicants from non-traditional training backgrounds.
In 2018 NYT’s REP Company is once again one of the Fellowship’s participating theatres.

Due to poor weather conditions, our scheduled #NoGreyArea Town Hall meeting on Sunday 10th December had to be posted. The meeting will be rescheduled for January, with the new date to be confirmed as soon as possible.
