Introducing the 2019 REP Company
We're delighted to announce our 2019 REP Company and Bryan Forbes Assistant Director
Inspired by the traditional repertory theatre model, the NYT REP Company course offers free, practical, industry-based talent development in drama and performance over nine months to 16 NYT members.
Now in it's eighth year, we're proud of to announce our 2019 REP Company as: Bede Hodgkinson, Guy Clark, Ella Dacres, Natalie Dunne, Jordan Ford Silver, Jamie Foulkes, Alice Franziska, Billy Hinchliff, Tiwalade Ibirogba-Olulode, Julia Kass, Sarah Lusack, Jemima Mayala, Joseph Payne, Sonny Poon Tip, Raj Singh, Jadie Hobson.
We are also thrilled to announce our sixth Bryan Forbes REP Assistant Director as Mumba Dodwell. Mumba will train alongside the 2019 REP Company as an Assistant Director supported by a £10,000 bursary, as well as stepping up as Director for our REP Season production of Great Expectations at the Southwark Playhouse, she will be mentored by NYT Alumna and Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre, Lynette Linton.

Bryan Forbes REP Assistant Director 2019
Having previously worked as an actress, Mumba is now a Theatre Director based in London. After completely the Young Vic Intro to Directing Course she's turned her focus on to challenging stereotypes, narrative and stories of those who are not usually seen in theatre. As well making sure when these stories are shared that they are done with integrity and sensitivity. Mumba has recently directed Black Ice by Atlanta Green Theatre503 and a rehearsed reading of Tales From The Garden by Ameera Conrad at the Tristan Bates Theatre as a part of the Blacktress Season.
