Career Kickstart for Actors | Bristol

This summer we're running a brand new course for actors aged 18-25 in Bristol, London and Manchester looking to kick start their careers.
Over the course of five days of intensive training with a leading industry NYT associate participants will develop their professional practice in:
- Script Preparation Work
- Self-taping and Acting for Screen
- Auditioning for Theatre
- Devising Professional Work
- Connecting with Industry Professionals
The course will culminate in a public performance and industry Q&A. On completing the course applicants will be given access to a film of their performance.
This is an ideal course for NYT members looking to take their love of performance to the next level or young people who didn't do NYT when they were younger but now want to pursue a career as a performer.

This course is available for members and non members aged 18-25
Am I eligible for a free place?
At The National Youth Theatre we never want cost to be a barrier, that's why we offer limited free spaces on each course. For a free place, please fill out the short application form here
I have access needs, can I still take part?
Our courses are adaptable for participants with disability and neurodivergence where required. All participants are asked to provide Access Requirements before attending to make sure their needs are met. For further information, please contact auditionandcourses@nyt.org.uk
What should I bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a snack/packed lunch and water bottle (NYT is walking distance to many corner shops, cafes & local supermarkets to buy food from), and a notepad and pen
