Sad News | Jerry Hodgson

We were very saddened by the news of Jerry Hodgson's passing earlier this month, which will have come as a shock to many in the National Youth Theatre community, not least as he was present at our AGM just a few weeks ago, albeit on Zoom, and everyone was pleased to see him as ever.

Jerry shared his knowledge, expertise and great humour with such passion and commitment to the company over so many years that non of us wish to count. He was chief electrician and course leader for the company in the 1980s and 1990s but his loyal support for the organisation spans decades and he was a trusted friend.

Everyone at NYT sends their love and heartfelt sympathy to Elaine, his family and friends.
