Could you be one of our next Youth Trustees?

We are looking for our next cohort of Youth Trustees to work closely with us to give young people a voice across our charity and continue our mission of supporting the next generation of talent.

We want to continue giving young people a platform and voice, we are stronger together and our work is richer due to the different lived experiences, cultures and backgrounds of everyone within our organisation. Our work is about connection and unity, whatever your journey has been with NYT, we invite you to apply to become a Youth Trustee and help amplify the voices of our members.

As a Youth Trustee, you’d help us make sure that all the decisions we make reflect our wider charitable aims. We want a group that represents the experiences and passions of all our NYT Members, including backstage and acting members. Successful applicants will learn new skills, grow in confidence and gain connections to a network of industry professionals. These meetings will ensure the membership voice is heard during the highest level of decision-making at NYT and help us shape the future of the company.

This is a voluntary unpaid role, but expenses will be covered to lift any barriers that could prevent you from taking up the position. This includes travel and access requirements. We are excited to hear from everyone and particularly from young people from backgrounds that are currently underrepresented at NYT or in the industry at large. We want our Youth Trustees to represent our UK-wide membership.
