NYT REP Shows - Tickets still available

We couldnt be prouder of the 2016 REP Company in the West End who have been receiving some great reviews here. There's still time to grab a ticket for Pigeon English and Romeo + Juliet if you’re yet to see the shows.

Let's Feast for the Future!

This November, hundreds of people will be sharing meals, on one special weekend, to raise money for the National Youth Theatre. Sign up to host a supper now! You can check out recipes, tips and more on our Supper Club Tumblr here.

Help us to raise vital funds by hosting a fun supper club with friends! Simply ask them to donate the equivalent of what they would spend at a favourite restaurant to NYT. All of the money raised will go towards the NYT bursary fund. It all starts with you.


Fancy joining our Playing Up course?

Not in education, employment or training and looking for a course this September? Our FREE Playing Up course is now recruiting.

We're looking for 25 talented and committed 19 - 24 year olds not in education, employment or training, to work with for 10 months (October - July) on Playing Up, offering the opportunity to gain an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Theatre Arts (equivalent to 2 A Levels). The course is absolutely free. More information can be found here.

Acting Auditions and Backstage Interviews for our 2017 Membership Courses are filling fast! Head here to book!

You can book an audition and view dates online now by heading here and selecting the most convenient location and date for you.

If you are successful at your audition you will be invited to take part in a membership course, and thereafter you’ll be an official member of NYT until you are 26. As a member you will be encouraged to audition for many productions, courses and opportunities throughout the year.


Masterclass Courses

If you’re looking for an intensive short-course to boost your skillset and receive professional feedback, there’s a space on one of our Masterclass Courses with your name on it.

Half-Term Masterclasses now available:
Acting for Screen in London, Norwich & Manchester
Performing Shakespeare in London
Audition Technique in Brighton, Bristol & London

NYT Masterclasses take place across the UK, all year round. Our Autumn Courses have limited availability so book ASAP if you would like to join us.


Casting Auditions: REP 2017 & NYT Productions

Company Members - brush up your monologues! Casting Auditions for the 2017 REP Company and productions next year will be available to book later this month. They will take place between January and March next year.

The audition day will involve group workshops in movement, music and rhythm as well as an individual session with the audition panel during which you will perform a monologue of your choice. We'll be in touch with more details once the auditions are ready to book so that you can fully prepare.

Final spaces available in our Autumn Audition Technique Masterclasses if you want a bit of a boost.

We’re also very proud of NYT REP 2013 alumnus Sope Dirisu who this week appear on the front cover of Screen Daily Magazine after being named one of their Stars of Tomorrow. He’s currently in previews for One Night in Miami at the Donmar Warehouse, in which he plays Cassius Clay. http://www.screendaily.com/5109623.article
