My NYT Audition | Competition

Whether you’ve already had your NYT intake Audition or Interview this year, or yours is still to come, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for people auditioning for NYT in 2018 to share their experience with us, by filming a ‘My NYT Audition’ video. We’ll select the best videos, and showcase them in a playlist on the National Youth Theatre You Tube page as well as sharing them on our social media!

We’ll also be selecting an overall competition winner who will receive…

  • An overnight stay in a large double room at The Pilgrm Hotel, London
  • Two tickets to a West End Production
  • A year of Club Membership

Your video
You don’t have to be an expert Youtuber, or own a fancy camera to submit a video – we’re most interested in what you have to say!

If you’re stuck for ideas, here are a few to get your started…

  • You could film a to-camera piece, telling us about your audition day
  • You might want to film some content on the audition day (as long as it doesn’t distract you or any of your fellow auditionees!)
  • You might talk through what you did on your audition day, why you choose to apply for NYT, any advice you have for other people auditioning!
  • Keep your video around 5-10 minutes in length

Deadline: You must submit your entry no more than 20 days after your audition with us
