10 years of providing free training and world-class platforms to young actors
This week National Youth Theatre Artistic Director and CEO Paul Roseby spoke to The Stage Newspaper about 10 Years of the NYT REP Company, which provides a free alternative to formal training and the chance to perform on world leading stages.
Paul said: "The driver for establishing the REP was making it possible for young people of limited means to find an alternative route into the profession. It teaches resilience through the intensity of working with the director and the writer on a leading West End stage. It’s about connecting to the audience and trusting your instincts"
In early 2023 the current NYT REP will perform Much Ado About Nothing, Gone Too Far and Bakkhai and tickets from £10 are on sale now with schools discounts and free resources available.
