Finding the funny: Gaining Confidence in Comedy with Ste Johnston

Fancy yourself as a bit of a comedian, or always felt that comedy’s what’s missing from your acting toolkit? Join actor, funny man, and NYT Associate Ste Johnston (No Offence, Channel 4) for a half day workshop on techniques to help you be more confident in comedy whether its performing it or for monologue technique?
This free workshop, part of the National Youth Theatre’s Membership Programme, will look at look at clowning, using the voice and the body, comic timing and tension and the similarities between the beats in comedy and dramatic speeches.
