THANK YOU | MAKE A SPLASH

Posted 07 Aug 2023

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us raise vital funds to support young talent at Make A Splash last night at The Londoner Hotel.

With a 40% reduction in young people taking up arts subjects at GCSE between 2010 and 2022, opportunities for young talent to develop their creativity are under threat, so this support is more important than ever.

Special thanks to our headline sponsors EON Productions and Little Lion Entertainment, our print sponsors Think Publishing, our champagne sponsors Champagne Bollinger and cocktail sponsors MarGin, and supporters Netflix, TikTok, Autograph Sound and Pineapple Dance Studios.

Thank you to all those who donated financially, gave items for our fundraising auction and all the NYT performers, creatives, presenters Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Lyle, auctioneer Harry Dalmeny, staff and volunteers who made the event possible. We couldn’t have done it without so many people, and especially our Gala committee chaired by NYT President Barbara Broccoli, with Vice-Chair Tilly McAuliffe, Dawn Airey, Tania Black, Judith Chan, Jacqueline de Croÿ, Janet Ellis, Graham Elton, Heather Greenwood, Krishnan Guru-Murthy Nigel Hall, Joyce Hytner, Daisy Lewis, Tim Lloyd-Hughes, Lauren Lyle, David Pearl, Tanya Rose and Julian Vogel.

Finally, a huge thank you to our very special guests: Six the Musical star Leah Vassell and all at Six and Kenny Wax productions, choreographer founder and creative director of the BAFTA winning Diversity Ashley Banjo MBE and the whole dance group and our DJ Jack Peñate. Big thanks to James Graham who scripted our NYT members' performance.
