Listen now to leading British dramatist James Graham on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs talking about his storytelling journey and Tory Boyz, the 1st play he wrote for us, which premiered at Soho Theatre in 2008.

Previously speaking about his time with NYT James said: ”The first person to ever pay to commission me to write a play was Paul Roseby OBE of the National Youth Theatre. I’m now very lucky to be earning a living doing something I love.”

Tory Boyz was also staged by the NYT REP Company in 2013, which was James Graham's West End debut. Other plays James has written for NYT include Relish, the story of the world's first celebrity chef and Town Planning in the apocalypse.
