Rhum + Clay are an award-winning theatre company led by co-Artistic Directors, Julian Spooner and Matt Wells. Lynn won the 'Most Promising Playwright Award' at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2023 for their play THE SWELL. Together they devised the Offie-nominated and critically acclaimed The War of The Worlds in 2019, selling out a five-week run in London and a four-week run in Edinburgh before a UK and international tour. This new production in partnership with the NYT REP Company will feature 18 of Britain's most exciting young performers from around the UK. The National Youth Theatre return to Wilton’s Music Hall, the oldest Grand Music Hall in the world, following previous successful collaborations on Peter Terson’s Zigger Zagger in 2017 and Silence by Moira Buffini in 2007.
