Access Acquired is back!

Access Acquired is a Made by Members series, curated by a collective of NYT Members who are passionate about championing young d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent talent.

Following on from the success of the Made by Members Event hosted in 2022, Access Acquired is returning as a weekend long festival made for and by d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent NYT Members in February 2024!

Access Acquired has been created by and for NYT Members who identify as disabled, D/deaf or neurodiverse to perform, take part in workshops and panels and network over the course of a weekend.

You can look forward to a variety of panels, workshops and performances featuring Co-Director of our Associate Company BLINK Dance Theatre, Francis Majekodunmi and Associate, Director, Writer and Dramaturg Hana Keegan.

What Are We Looking For?

Performers - As part of the event, we’re looking to bring together a collection of short performance pieces to be created and performed by d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent NYT talent across the weekend. If you’re interested, please fill out the interest form below. Due to the nature of the event, the age range for performers specifically is 18+.

Facilitators and Panelists - We’re on the look out for people to facilitate creative workshops over the weekend. We’re also looking for people to speak on panels that are centred around being a disabled professional working in theatre. Think this could be you? Let us know in the expression of interest form!

Participants and Audiences - Got nothing in the works to perform at the moment? Don’t worry! You can still get a chance to get together with other disabled members and flex your creative muscles in our workshops and panels! Workshops will be for14+.
