Whether you have engaged with the National Youth Theatre before or are brand new to the organisation, we are looking for young people to join NYTs Drama Club Summer in Bristol!
During the course, you'll learn skills and techniques in areas such as:
- Voice
- Movement
- Devising theatre
- Text analysis
- Improvisation
- Character development
On the final day everyone will take part in a relaxed sharing for friends and family so they can see what you have learned that week.

Can I take part?
This course is available for anyone aged 11-14 whether they are active members of NYT or new to the organisation
Am I eligible for a free place?
At The National Youth Theatre we never want cost to be a barrier, that's why we offer limited free spaces on each course. For a free place, please fill out the short application form here
I have access needs, can I still take part?
Our courses are adaptable for participants with disability and neurodivergence where required. All participants are asked to provide Access Requirements before attending to make sure their needs are met. For further information, please contact auditionandcourses@nyt.org.uk
What should I bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a packed lunch, water bottle, a notepad and pen
