Funded jointly by Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport and the Big Lottery Fund the National Youth Theatre is offering five open access sessions for young people based in West Norfolk. Delivered over five weeks, this mini course is ideal for a taste of what NYT has to offer.
These sessions are open to anyone who has an interested in performing already, or to anyone who wants to try acting classes for the first time. All are welcome to participate and no previous experience is required.
There are a maximum of 25 spaces...so make sure you sign up fast!
The sessions are designed for young people aged 14 – 17 and will provide a platform for you to hone your performance skills, gain confidence and meet likeminded people. Led by a top industry professional with an NYT assistant, the open access sessions are the perfect way to gain experience in acting skill, self confidence or just to try something new.
The sessions are also ideal for anyone who wants to gain knowledge and an insight into the National Youth Theatre, and help you to prepare for company intake auditions in 2019. Get involved now!
The sessions will run from 17:00 – 19:00 on the following dates:
- Tuesday 6th November (taster week)
- Tuesday 20th November
- Tuesday 27th November
- Tuesday 4th December
- Tuesday 11th December
Applicants should be aware that they will need to attend all five sessions of the course.
