Funded jointly by Department for Digital Culture Media and Sport and the Big Lottery Fund the National Youth Theatre is offering an open access summer course for young people based in West Norfolk. Delivered over five days, this summer course is ideal for a taste of what NYT has to offer.
The summer course is open to anyone who has an interest in performing already, or to anyone who wants to try acting classes for the first time. All residents of West Norfolk aged 11-17 are welcome to participate and no previous experience is required.
This free course is five days in length from the 17th - 21st August 2020. Sessions are 90 minutes per day and will take place on Zoom. NYT has run a very successful programe of online courses and are really excited to bring these to West Norfolk this year.
Sessions for 11 - 13 year olds are from 10:00 - 11:30 each day.
Sessions for 14 - 17 year olds are from 12:00 - 13:30 each day.
There are a maximum of 16 spaces for each age group..... so make sure you sign up fast!
The sessions are designed for young people aged 11-13 and 14-17 and will provide a platform for you to hone your performance skills, gain confidence and meet likeminded people. Led by an NYT Associate Artist, the open access sessions are the perfect way to gain experience in acting skill, self confidence or just to try something new.
