Supporting Early Career Artists
5.30pm-6.30pm, Tuesday 18th May
On the eve of the opening of NYT’s REP Season National Tour at Royal & Derngate, join us for a panel discussion exploring the importance of supporting early career creatives at this crucial time as theatres begin to be able to reopen their doors.
As well as discussing the process of taking part in NYT’s REP Company programme and bringing Animal Farm and Othello to the stage amidst a global pandemic, our panel will also be exploring what comes next and how we can best support the next generation of artists, performers, and makers.
If you're a young person interested in getting involved with or working with National Youth Theatre then this session is for you.
Panellists include James Dacre (Artistic Director of Royal & Derngate Theatres), Anna Niland (Associate Director of National Youth Theatre), Adeola Yemitan and Will Stewart (Members of the 2020-21 NYT REP Company) and Ed Lawson (NYT Member and Lighting Assistant & Operator on the REP Season).
Attendees of the event will also get access to a £10 promo code for the REP Season productions at Royal & Derngate.
Closed captions will be available for this session.
