The world premiere of a fast-paced and emotionally gripping modern adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic gothic thriller exploring Artificial Intelligence, emotional learning and what it means to be post-human.

Adapted for stage by Carl Miller (WASTED) directed by Emily Gray (Artistic Director of Trestle Theatre Company) and performed by Britain’s best young talent from the NYT REP Company.

Frankenstein will be staged by the National Youth Theatre in REP with Great Expectations at the Southwark Playhouse. The 2019 NYT REP Company will also stage A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Criterion Theatre in December 2019 and January 2020. 

The NYT REP is supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation,Spotlight and Idlewild Trust and the production of Frankenstein is supported by Cockayne – Grants for the Arts.
