FREE d/Deaf Audition Day

Overview

The National Youth Theatre are pleased to be offering a FREE acting audition day for young deaf people aged 14-25. Auditions are for our intake courses in 2022, more information can be found here about the courses. The audition day will consist of a morning workshop, followed by 1:1 auditions in the afternoon where you will be asked to perform a monologue, devised piece, story or poem of your choice (you can choose to perform in English or BSL, or both).

Successful auditionees will join us for an intake course in 2022 and train in performance, devising and ensemble theatre-making. After completing an intake course, you would then become a National Youth Theatre Member until you turn 26.

Date: Sunday 1st May

Time: 10am – 5pm with breaks

Location: National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, 443-445 Holloway Road, N7 6LW

The audition day will be BSL interpreted and interpreters will be available on the intake course for those who are succesful in their audition.
