COLLABORATE Workshop - 2-4pm
Looking for your tribe? Got ideas, but haven’t found the right people to collaborate with? Don’t have a specific idea yet, but still want to pour fuel on the creative fire?
Come along to our COLLABORATE workshop! You'll connect with creatives of different disciplines with a view to taking these new connections and ideas further, post-workshop. After an introductory session, you’ll be split into two groups – those interested in writing and dramaturgy, and those who want to learn more about backstage and design work. Both groups will then come back together to share what they’ve come up with.

Open to all, this Q&A will give you the chance to ask an emerging theatre company about successful collaboration, how to get started and how to create your own opportunities.
The City Lighthouse Theatre Company are currently working on their play ‘Concha’, which is being performed virtually for the Oregon Fringe Festival. They were established in mid-2020 with the aim to exemplify the voices of our generation, focusing on putting people of colour and LGBTQ+ stories on stage. The panel will be composed of the writer/performer Carlos Fernandez, the director Manisha Sondhi, the designer Kathrine Strawn, and the stage manager Anna Townley.

Come along to meet likeminded individuals across disciplines, to create work that feels authentic to you, to inspire and to be inspired.
The FREEDOM Gallery
Open to: NYT Members & NYT Hub Subscribers
Can’t make it? Want to get even more involved? As part of our Creative Leaders takeover, we want to showcase original art made by NYT members in our new virtual space: The FREEDOM Gallery.
If you’re an NYT Member or Hub Subscriber, and have a piece of art you’ve made that shows the world what freedom means to you, we want to see it! Maybe that’s a collage made from old magazines? Maybe you love photography? Or do you find it easiest to express yourself through spoken word? You can use anything you feel like in any form you see fit. Show us what freedom looks like to you!
