Wednesday Drama Club 11-14s 2026
Our Summer Term of Drama Club will focus on script-work, devising and performing as an ensemble. Led by two NYT Associates, participants will come together to create a final performance that showcases all the skills they have built throughout the course which will take place the last week of term.
Participants will gain an understanding of collaborative theatre-making, the expectations of a professional rehearsal process, approaching script-work and devising their own work. They will cover techniques such as:
- Devising
- Scene study/Script analysis
- Voice work for performance
- Characterisation
- This course is perfect for young people looking to build their confidence, gain performance skills and join a creative, supportive community.
Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Dates:
April: 15th, 22nd, 29th
May: 6th, 13th, 20th
(Half-Term - No session on Wednesday 27th May)
June: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
Wednesday 24th June will be the final sharing date where friends and families will be invited to attend.
