Career Kickstart for Actors

Over the course of ten weeks, led by award-winning actor Mark Weinman, participants will develop their professional practice in:
- Script Preparation Work
- Self-taping and Acting for Screen
- Auditioning for Theatre
- Devising Professional Work
- Connecting with Industry Professionals
The course will culminate in a mock audition and industry Q&A. On completing the course applicants will be given access to a recording of their monologue.
This is an ideal course for NYT members looking to take their love of performance to the next level or young people who didn't do NYT when they were younger but now want to pursue a career as a performer.

Mark is an award-winning actor working across stage and screen.
Credits include: Ant Man & The Wasp: Quantumania (Marvel), Criminal Record (Apple TV), After Life (Netflix), I May Destroy You (BBC/HBO), Press (BBC) and GameChangers (BBC).
Mark has worked as an associate artist at NYT for over 10 years and is also the founder of The Ten; a free not-for-profit mentorship programme designed to support and showcase actors from underrepresented backgrounds.
