Acting for Screen Intensive

This intensive course takes place over 5 full days, and is designed for those who may have already participated in an NYT Intro to Acting for Screen course, or have had training elsewhere or already have experience in the industry.
You will take an in-depth look at self-tapes, on-set tips, text analysis and working with scene partners.You'll be given the tools and confidence to trust your instincts in front of the camera and leave feeling ready to walk on any set, with the week culminating in a visit from an industry professional. Be ready to make bold decisions, take risks and get the most out of every moment.

Can I take part?
This course is available for anyone aged 18 - 30 whether they are active members of NYT or new to the organisation
Am I eligible for a free place?
At The National Youth Theatre we never want cost to be a barrier, that's why we offer limited free spaces on each course. For a free place, please fill out the short application form here
What Should I Bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a packed lunch/snack (NYT is next to many shops, cafes and a Sainsburys), water bottle, a notepad and pen
