Am introductionary masterclass in Directing led by NYT Associate Artist, for ages 18-28.
When:
Dates: Thursday 28th April - Thursday 26th May 2022 (one session a week)
Venue: National Youth Theatre, 443-445 Holloway Road, London, N7 6LW
Course times: 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Led by top industry professionals, aimed at students wishing to gain more skills and knowledge, our Directing masterclass is a weekly course with one session every five weeks offering the following:
• Develop knowledge and experience in how to direct for stage
• Gain an understanding of different directing technique and how to start staging plays as a young director
• Understand how to prepare for and present your ideas to collaborators and your cast
• Learn excercises you can use in the room, refine your ideas for plays you want to direct and make new connections
• Finish the course with a fully formed idea you can pitch to direct in the future
