#NYTAlum Julie Hesmondhalgh presented BBC Radio 4's Pick of the Week this week, where she selected the Radio 4 Drama in Schools: An Unfolding Tragedy documentary, featuring NYT CEO & Artistic Director in conversation with Christopher Eccleston and the NYT REP Company.

Julie said: ‘Paul Roseby of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain - an organisation that took a punt on 14 year old me in 1984 - talks about the potential ramifications for the future and what and who appears on our stages and screens…’ on the decline of drama in our schools.

Paul Roseby OBE said it has ‘huge ramifications for artists that want to tell new stories that reflect on our society today’ and stressed ‘Storytelling is a human right!’
