Constellations of Change hosted by Ramps on the Moon

Leaders from some of the UK's most influential cultural organisations gathered at the National Youth Theatre in London on Tuesday 23 June for Constellations of Change, an event hosted by Ramps on the Moon to mark more than a decade of its work driving anti-ableist change across the arts and cultural sector.

The day brought together representatives from Shakespeare's Globe, the Royal Opera House, the National Theatre, the National Youth Theatre and Welsh National Opera, alongside peers and collaborators from across the country, for a programme of reflection, conversation and debate about the future of disability inclusion in the arts.

Led by Michèle Taylor MBE, Director for Change at Ramps on the Moon, the programme combined conversations with leaders shaping the future of the cultural sector, including the National Youth Theatre, with reflections on ten years of anti-ableist progress and impact. Delegates also had the chance to connect with peers and collaborators from across the UK and to debate what the next chapter of sector-wide change should look like.

Ramps on the Moon has spent more than a decade working to embed anti-ableist practice across the UK's cultural sector. Constellations of Change marked both a celebration of that progress and a starting point for the conversations that will shape the years ahead.
