Big Night Out at Sing Street
In August National Youth Theatre supporters were treated to a night at hit musical Sing Street as our 2025 Big Nights Out fundraising campaign kicked off in style.
Supporters gathered at the Lyric Hammersmith to watch the musical written by Tony winner Enda Walsh, directed by Rebecca Taichman and based on the motion picture written and directed by John Carney. The show stars NYT Associate Artist Lucianne McEvoy and NYT Alumnus Lloyd Hutchinson. After the performance our guests were treated to the exclusive opportunity to meet the cast on stage after the show. Find out more about Sing Street.
Big Nights Out is our ongoing fundraising campaign, offering our supporters special nights at the theatre with high profile NYT friends to raise vital funds to create more opportunities for young people.
We’re very grateful to NYT President Barbara Broccoli and everyone at EON Productions for making our evening at Sing Street possible and so enjoyable. As part of their ongoing commitment to making theatre accessible to young people from all backgrounds, Barbara Broccoli and EON Productions also generously donated 100 free tickets for National Youth Theatre members to see Sing Street throughout the run. Many members were introduced to the show’s producers, cast and creative team. We are grateful to Barbara Broccoli, Bob Crowley, Enda Walsh, Natasha Katz, the entire cast and members of the company, who took the time to meet National Youth Theatre acting and backstage members.
