FREE Writing Workshops

We’re offering FREE open access playwriting workshops this Spring for 14 to 25 year-olds in:

Exeter Northcott - 2pm – 5pm - Friday 28th March Book Now

Ipswich - Eastern Angles - 2pm - 5pm - Wednesday 2nd of April Book Now

Glasgow - Impact Arts - 10am - 1pm - Thursday 10th April Book Now

Sunderland - Theatre Space NE - 2pm - 5pm - Friday 11th April - Book Now

These free workshops are an opportunity for NYT Members to work with a writer to develop and hone a script idea. Across a half-day session, you’ll work with a writer in small groups to explore principles of writing, develop your own writer’s toolkit, and gain practical support in creating an idea for a brand-new script.

These workshops are suitable for complete beginners, or for young creatives who already have an interest in writing but want to hone their practice and learn from a writer in the industry.

Member only writers workshops are also taking place in Birmingham, London, & Online - active NYT Company members see the members’ board to sign-up.
