Monologues

Click here to access full scripts of unpublished plays from National Youth Theatre Monologues, a collection of 75 audition speeches edited and introduced by Michael Bryher, published by Nick Hern Books, in association with the National Youth Theatre.

The plays are available to download here and read online only, and are supplied in order to prepare speeches from them. They must not be published or distributed via any other website or shared by other digital means, including email. Any enquiries to perform the plays should be addressed, in the first instance, to rights@nickhernbooks.co.uk, who will reply with full details of the agent/rights holder.

Some of the scripts are working rehearsal drafts, complete with annotations. The copyright for each play remains with its author.
