Start-Up Half-Term
Six Day Course for ages 11-14 - (London) 
Half-Term 8-13 April 2019 and 27 May - 1 June 2019 

Start-Up Saturdays Starting 27 April 2019 
 (Term 1 open for booking, London) 

Too young to audition? Join the National Youth Theatre every Saturday morning or afternoon and explore ensemble story telling, improvisation and music with a leading NYT director. The perfect way to start with the NYT before auditioning to join as a member at the age of 14.

Club Membership – (Online membership, available now)

Join the club! Take advantage of exclusive ticket offers, access to online advice from NYT directors and associates and quarterly NYT events and open days. Club membership is a great way to prepare and join the NYT network before auditioning to be a company member at the age of 14.       


National Auditions – (13+ January - April)

Every year between January & March we run auditions all over the UK to meet young talent to join our company. If successful, applicants are invited to take part in a two week summer course which leads to Company Membership. Providing you will be age 14 by 1st August you can apply and audition at the age of 13. 


Productions – (Company Membership only, Seasonal) 

Every year we produce a season of ambitious shows to platform young talent and support emerging directors and writers. Working with some of the UK’s top theatres and arts venues, our productions give young people the opportunity to learn on high-profile platforms on stage in from of an audience. Once you turn 15, you can take part in our regular masterclasses which take place around the UK during the academic holidays.
