Video Auditions
Wherever you're based in the UK, you can audition for NYT online via a video audition
To apply via our digital auditions route, please record a video of yourself performing a monologue and answering the below questions.
What to include in your video audition
- Introduction - your name, pronouns, age, where you are from, and anything else you’d like to share with us!
- Monologue - film yourself performing a monologue from a play, film, or TV show (no longer than two minutes).
- Questions - at either the beginning or end of your self-tape, please answer the following three questions questions:
- Why do you want to join the National Youth Theatre?
- Other than acting, tell us about something you’re passionate about.
- Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
