Sad News | Peter Terson

We are deeply saddened at the news of the loss of Peter Terson, who was a writing institution at the National Youth Theatre and beyond, and throughout the 1960s and 1970s created relevant, witty and punchy stories that put young working class voices centre stage. As the first writer to be commissioned by the National Youth Theatre, he led the way creating iconic stories for young people with big casts, big talent and big heart. Our thoughts are with his family at this time and we plan to commemorate his contribution to our company and work in a fitting way later this year.
