Led by industry experts, the course will provide an introduction to a range of digital technologies currently being used by innovative theatre makers and ask how do you create a piece of theatre using virtual reality. Participants will create a piece of theatre using 360 video on this one week course, which they will then share with an invited industry audience on the final day.
Successful applicants will gain National Youth Theatre Digital Membership and all the benefits that entails, including the opportunity to work on large-scale theatrical productions and digital projects in West End theatres, leading theatre around the UK, stadiums, epic non-traditional outdoor spaces and internationally. The National Youth Theatre are grateful to NESTA for their support of our Digital Membership through their Amplified Programme.
