A live interactive bi-lingual event 100 days before the start of the Beijing Games, celebrating the spirit of the Olympic Games' ethos of Youth and Friendship. Showcasing young talent and connecting them virtually from opposite sides of the globe, the event will be set against a dramatic backdrop of live and recorded images and words born out of two thrilling cities.

Produced by the National Youth Theatre in association with 100 Words.Inc, Beijing Dramatists Association, Sohu.Com, BBC Blast, and Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing the 50 minute event will be a unique and exciting climax to a cultural exchange programme that has already begun between NYT volunteers and CAFA students exploring the art of digital interactive technology mixed with traditional story telling. It will also stage the screening of the two winning 100 word scripts chosen by British and Chinese panelists for BBC Blast and Sohu.com's on line competition in search of inspiring new short stories (beginning at the end of January 2008) and which will be filmed by two award winning film directors from Britain and China respectively.
